Before becoming a Mum, Cat Muir worked full time in the
Television & film industry on set, designing make-up
and special effects. This gave her the chance to
work with
some wonderful and interesting people.
Prior
to that she established and managed a successful
health, beauty & fitness premises in Central
Scotland which allowed her to travel as necessary to
keep abreast of developments within the film,
health, fitness and beauty industries.

She
has qualifications ranging through beauty,
hairdressing, health & fitness to personal training,
hypnotherapy and life coaching. Aside from her
family, her work is her passion. She feel blessed
that her work allows her to pursue her hobbies and
that she is lucky enough to feel genuinely
enthusiastic every day that she goes to work.

| She has worked in film and television for
over 15 years on programs such as Hollyoaks,
Brookside, Live and Kicking, films such as Complicity, House
of Mirth, 51st State and worked beside celebrities such as
Gillian Anderson, Laura Linney, Dan Akroyd, Eric Stoltz,
Anthony Lapaglia, Johnny Lee Millar, Helena Bonham
Carter, Brian Cox, Samuel L. Jackson, Meatloaf, Robert
Carlyle, Rhys Ifans and many more in the music industry,
including the Spice Girls, Sugababes,
Cerys Matthews and Catatonia.

She writes in small local
publications regularly and is currently spending time
organising an internet makeup course which is geared towards
world wide access. |

Cat Muir genuinely loves every day that
she works in the film industry. Makeup is her passion.
